Riyadh – Mansour al Mosaid Group and Agriculture Development Fund signed a strategic contract worth SR 150 million to finance import of about 130 thousand tons of Barley with the aim of enhancing strategic stocks and ensuring the stability of supply chains. This is a major development especially recognizing Mansour al Mosaid Company as a major player of Kingdom’s Barley trade. Mansour al Mosaid Company has been a key performer in Barley import and trade for 40 years in Kingdom.
Contract was signed by General Manager Mansour al Mosaid Company, Mr. Nawaf Bin Abdullah AlSudairy in presence of MMC’s CEO Mr. Hafiz Yasin and officials of the Agriculture Development fund in capital city of Riyadh. Ceremony was attended by keynote staff of both organizations. In his statement, Mr. Hafiz Yasin reiterated company’s commitment to Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and providing anchorage role in multidimensional goals. He emphasized that ADF’s contribution is a step in right direction to empower companies to provide food security and stability in the agriculture sector. Mr. Nawaf AlSudairy opined that MMC’s vision is to provide services to our stakeholders including government par excellence that has been a hall mark of company from last 40 years.
