1. Introduction
Welcome to MMC’s Learning Management System(“LMS”). By accessing or using the LMS, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the LMS.
2. Use of the LMS
2.1 Eligibility
The LMS is intended for use by employees of Mansour Al Mosaid Co. For Trading & Contracting (“MMC”) only. Unauthorized use by non-employees is strictly prohibited.
2.2 User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the IT Department immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3. User Conduct
3.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the LMS for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any company policy or Saudi Arabian law.
- Share your credentials with any person whom so ever (unless required by company policy)
- Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the operation of the LMS.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Company Content
The Company retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the content provided on the LMS, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software (“Company Content”). You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Company Content without the prior written consent from the management.
5. Privacy
Your use of the LMS is also governed by MMC’s Privacy Policy in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law of Saudi Arabia.
6. Disclaimers
The LMS is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. The LMS is not to be treated as an accredited educational institute and does not offer formal education certification.
6.1 Informational Purposes Only
The LMS is provided for informational and educational purposes to support the professional development of MMC employees. The content and courses offered through the LMS are designed to enhance your skills and knowledge relevant to you within the Company.
6.2 No Academic Credentials
The LMS does not grant any formal academic degrees, diplomas, or certifications. Participation in or completion of any course or program on the LMS does not confer any academic credit or formal recognition that can be transferred to any accredited educational institution.
6.3 No Misrepresentation
Employees must not represent or imply that participation in or completion of any course or program on the LMS is equivalent to earning an academic degree, diploma, or certification from an accredited educational institution. Misrepresentation of the nature of the training received through the LMS is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the LMS.
- Any unauthorized access to or use of the LMS or its servers.
- Any interruption or cessation of service to or from the LMS.
8. Indemnification
You agree to protect the Company and its employees from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including legal fees) that come from your use of the LMS or if you break these Terms.
9. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the LMS. Your continued use of the LMS following the posting of revised Terms signifies your acceptance of the changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
